CENTRAL PROVINCE AYURVEDA EXHIBITION
19 th , 20 th , and 21 st OCTOBER 2012
We are pleased to announce Ayur Ex 2012 Kandy , is the pioneer event for promote Ayurveda provincially and nationally by the Department of Ayurveda Central Province. The event will be held on 19 th to 21 st October 2012 at Kandy City Center.
The Exhibition includes a seminar on Ayurveda for Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs), Ayurveda Exhibition and Workshops with practical demonstrations on Ayurveda beauty culture , Pancha Karma for rejuvenation , Traditional Foods ; giving deep insight knowledge of the living tradition and the art of healing ...

Provincial Flower
Maha Rath MalaThe official flower of the central province the Rhododendron arboreum - subsp. zeylanicum grows in the regions 1700 – 2300m above sea level, in Horton Plains, Ohiya, Pattipola, Seetha Eliya, Moon Thenne in the Nuwara Eliya district. It is reported that this plant has been found growing in the Knuckles, Namunukula ranges.
